Extra Curricular Program

Each week, our students will be engaging in an extra curricular activity in addition to learning the Korean language. Extra curricular activities may range from cooking to participating in traditional Korean festivities, while always focusing on learning Korea’s culture or history.

This year, we are allowing our students to choose a focused elective (options below) based on their interests so that they can delve a little deeper into the subject. Students will participate in their elective courses twice a month, for a total of six weeks throughout the semester.

Students in our Early Literacy program will participate in three weeks of Taekwondo and three weeks of Arts & Crafts.

  • Taekwondo

Our Taekwondo program will be led by Top Taekwondo. Students will be introduced to the core values and principles taught by one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world in an energetic and engaging setting.

  • Arts & Crafts

Our Arts & Crafts program will introduce students to both traditional and modern Korean art genres, techniques, history and culture through the creation of beautiful pieces that students can proudly display.

  • Media Creation & Theater

Our Media Creation & Theater program will focus on speech and pronunciation in a fun way through creation of short videos and working towards a theater production to be presented on the final day of the semester.
